Fremont County Treasurer

The Treasurer is the collector of property taxes, sales tax and fees on motor vehicles, and other revenues from federal, state, and local sources. Other responsibilities include investing the County’s funds, accounting for all receipts, and disbursing moneys to various tax entities such as school districts, libraries, and cities each month.

Our mission; “Working to Best Serve You” describes our efforts to continually improve to provide cost efficient and effective service to Fremont County citizens, County Departments, and outside agencies that rely on the services of the Fremont County Treasurer.

The Fremont County Tax Sale is scheduled for Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at the Fremont County Courthouse in Lander. Listings of properties with delinquent taxes will be published beginning Sunday, July 18, 2021, in the Riverton Ranger and also on the Legal Notices page of this website. More information to come.
