Clerk of District Court

The clerk of district court is the official keeper of all district court records. It is our responsibility to file pleadings in civil, criminal and probate cases.
Restitution, fines, victims compensation fees, public defender fees and court automation fees are collected and distributed by this office.
We prepare the records of cases on appeal from this court to the Wyoming Supreme Court. We set briefing schedules and maintain administrative records for the district judge.
We call and maintain a list of potential jurors.
We receipt and disburse child support payments. Issue paperwork for wage withholdings and maintain an official record of all payments.
Additional job duties and explanations:
We process passport applications and receipt the required fee.
We handle civil, felony and probate record searches.
All records searches must be done in writing with a $10.00 fee per name.
