RURAL RESIDENT CHECKLIST

TO AID EMERGENCY RESPONSE PERSONNEL

Ask yourself...

If emergency response help is needed, can they find me or my loved ones in time, without directions?

Here are some important things that you and your family can do to help avoid unecessary delays

1. Make sure that your road has a green and white road name sign posted and visible?

2. Make sure that the ambulance driver can see and read your physical address numbers?

3. Does 9-1-1 have my correct rural address?

- Contact U.S. West to verify your 9-1-1 address (not your mailing address).

Do your part to make it easier for an ambulance to get to you. Quick Response time is critical when your life or the life of someone you love is at stake...make sure you've done all that you can do to make those seconds count!
