Department Function
The Transportation Department is responsible for the maintenance and construction of
those roadway and drainage structure assets sustained through the direct and indirect
efforts of Fremont County.
Department Mission
To be effective and efficient in the management of the transportation related
infrastructure as needed within the public right-of-way of Fremont County maintained
roads.
Our Mission Critical Processes
- Continual assessment of the public's current and future transportation needs and
expectations while responding appropriately given fiscal realities.
- Employment of those technologies and employee growth opportunities capable of increasing
our overall efficiencies and effectiveness.
