The Transportation Department is responsible for the maintenance and construction of those roadway and drainage structure assets sustained through the direct and indirect efforts of Fremont County.
Department Mission
To be effective and efficient in the management of the transportation related infrastructure as needed within the public right-of-way of Fremont County maintained roads.

The permit approval process takes approximately 30 days. If there is an emergency request that requires expedited consideration, please attach a letter outlining those circumstances. Each request will include an on-site review of your proposal. Please mark with paint or flagging tape the exact area the work will be completed. Mail permits to: Fremont County
