Applications for donated dental assistance for people over 65 years of age are available in our office.
Provides follow-up on an individual basis regarding specific health problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, medication management, and foot care. Diabetic A1C Clinics are held every 3 months by appointment.
Confidential testing and counseling are available by appointment at both Public
Health Offices. Donations are accepted but not required.
Tetanus, Tetanus Pertussis, Flu, Pneumonia, and Hepatitis A & B are
available for a fee.
Evaluations are done upon request for nursing home admissions or to receive certain in-home services based on finances and medical needs.
Helps coordinate care for mothers and children with special health
needs. Services are provided to eligible children and high risk pregnant women who meet
medical and financial guidelines.

Certified RNs provide complete physical and developmental exams. Exams can be scheduled along with immunizations or separately. Schedule by calling your nearest Public Health office.
Qualified Public Health staff will provide individual or class instructions on numerous courses including but not limited to: Baby Sitting Instructions Cancer detection Diabetes counseling and teaching Infectious Disease Prevention Injury Prevention - age appropriate safety tips are available to families Nutrition Stop Smoking Others available upon request
Nurses are available to see infants, children, and adults for a number of services including: instant strep tests, ear checks, weight and height measurements, health counseling, pregnancy testing, blood pressure, blood sugar, and referral to a physician when required. These services are provided at regular walk-in clinics from 8:30 - 9:30 and 3:00 - 4:00 as staff is available, except for immunizations days. Screening services are available for tuberculosis, diabetes and A1C, vision and hearing, Head Start physicals, and hypertension. Please call for an appointment for these services.
Applications for financial assistance and support for pregnant women to assist with prenatal visits, lab tests, ultrasound and medications.
A program designed to support first time mothers during pregnancy and for the first two years of the child's life. Information will be shared about community resources, growth and development, nutrition, immunizations and parenting.
Referrals are received from local hospitals on all newborns. Home visits to the new parents provide nursing care and teaching.

Medication Assistance Medications can be provided free of charge by the manufacture for certain medications. Eligibility is based on finances and your physicians authorization.
